Welcome to the 'Canucks Week' Blog

Hello Canucks Fans, and haters (you must be so jealous of our first place team!)

Last year, the Canucks had an impressive 9-1 record against Eastern Conference teams. So far this season, the Canucks are 3-1 vs. the East, and have a chance to improve their record to 7-1 next week.

Months ago, Earl, Ernest and I came up with the ideal follow our home town Canucks on their upcoming road trip through the NHL's Northeast Division (not including Boston, who the Canucks played earlier in the season.) None of us have seen the Canucks play on the road anywhere other than San Jose (although, a few years ago, the three of us had previously watched two Grizzlies games on back-to-back nights in Northern California), so this seemed like an amazing opportunity to cheer for the 'good guys' against some our least favourite opponents - in their buildings!

After a final feast of Sushi at The Eatery, Earl, Ernest and I are flying to Toronto on the 'red eye' on Friday night - arriving Saturday morning and attending our first Canucks game on the road - fittingly on the CBC's Hockey Day in Canada. For us, it's Canucks Week and probably going to be the most fun time watching hockey and mocking opponents that we ever have.

We invite you to follow us on the road, as we travel from Toronto to Montreal to Ottawa to Buffalo and back to Toronto again. We will be looking for other Canucks fans on the road, mocking the home town supporters, and going to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
